Naturalists Visited Our Team Today!

Fatra has bee eyes!

Elysha is a bumblebee with 4 wings!

Isaiah is carefully finding the best pollinators for his plant.
We will plant this plant next week on our field trip in order to help pollinators in Minnesota.

Lucky us!  This butterfly just emerged from her chrysalis right before our eyes.
We let her be free in our milkweed garden at Harambee.

Mina and AJ used their proboscises (pollinator tongues) to get the nectar.

Manny's proboscis is too short and it's really hard to get the nectar out of his tall flower.
He's hoping for a shorter flower next time so he can get his nutrients!

Our field trip to the prairie is next Tuesday!  We will see many pollinators in their natural habitat and will help them out by planting more plants and flowers!
