| Lucky us! This butterfly just emerged from her chrysalis right before our eyes. We let her be free in our milkweed garden at Harambee. |

| Mina and AJ used their proboscises (pollinator tongues) to get the nectar. |

| Manny's proboscis is too short and it's really hard to get the nectar out of his tall flower. He's hoping for a shorter flower next time so he can get his nutrients! |
Our field trip to the prairie is next Tuesday! We will see many pollinators in their natural habitat and will help them out by planting more plants and flowers!
